An exfoliant scrub should never contain sugar and should not feel goopy.
Why? Sugar causes wrinkles and is not a very good hydrator, despite the rumors. Goopy means you are being sold a lot of fillers and the maker doesn't know how to make a quality product.
This beautifully crafted product looks and smells like golden flakes of sunshine. It has a texture akin to the perfect soil, but made with sand and salt. It isn't made with sand, but we do use salt. Contrary to rumors, in this blend of alchemical ingredients, salt does not harm the skin, but instead deeply cleanses and revitalizes your pores...without causing wrinkles like sugar does.
As this is designed for use inside the shower (tho it can also be used at the kitchen sink for garden or meat-grease hands), we have chosen to use plastic as the container. This plastic is the kindest we could find. No BPA, PET, and no double-walled, sunken trick to make you think the container is larger than it really is (personal pet peeve). It's a clear simple 4oz (so; nearly 5 oz of product) jar with a smooth lid you can easily access the product and re-use.

Once skin is drenched, you may want to turn your shower water off for a few minutes until you are ready to rinse.
Apply this Date Night exfoliant one large pinch at a time to each part of your body that needs exfoliation or supermodel shine. Date Night is lovely on the soles and heels of the feet, but not so much in hairy pits. Leg hair doesn't seem to be a concern, and for those ladies who like to grow their leg hairs, youwill find this Date Night scrub gives a lovely exfoliation you have long since needed and didn't even know.
Be mindful not ot drop any water into the jar. Make a game of it.
You will want to rub it in like soap, instead of soap, but there is no need to actually scrub hard. The exfoliation will happen naturally. We are huge fans of the least invasive methods, and although some people like to scar the skin to make it produce collagen, we don't believe that is necessary, luxurious, or fun.
It is natural to feel confused the first time, at this juncture. It feels like you're using sand instead of soap and just rubbing scratchy crumbs into your body; especially if you are used to silly sudsing products or ridiculous goopy sugar scrubs. We guarantee you will feel astonished once it's rinsed off.
Allow it to set in for one to five minutes to get the full benefit of the medicinal herbs and nourishing foods in this product.
Put the lid back on immediately.
Rinse this off under lukewarm to luxurious water. It may feel confusing at this juncture the first time, also.
Once the grains are removed, you will find yourself happily astonished and never confused again. Your skin should feel both smooth and hydrated.
Although it is hydrated and protected better than before, we highly recommend making sure to follow up with one of our lotions. If you have problem skin that needs this acne formula, the strong cleansing toner (our cheaper one) is also recommended between this exfloliant and the moisturizer you choose. If you are using a lotion with fragrance perfumes, you may just be undoing all the work we are doing here; consider one of ours that do not have abrasives like alcohol and chemicals.
